We will be conducting our baseline Galileo and DIBELS testing next week. This will give us an idea of the present levels of students, so we can then better develop a more precise plan for academic success, including any needed interventions.
Please encourage your students to do their very best on these assessments, which measure primarily their present level in both English/Language Arts and Math. We will then take these assessments several times throughout the year to measure growth in both areas.
Have your students get plenty of rest and give their best effort so we can accurately assess the results. Thank you all in advance for your help in creating a culture of success here at Gila Crossing.
