Gila Crossing Families,
We are excited to return to IN-PERSON learning here on campus on Wednesday, August 3rd.
We have some very important announcements about the new 22-23 school year;
1. We will keep the start times/end times the same as last year, to allow for distancing on the buses.
- Pre-K to 4th grades will attend from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm Monday - Thursday, with a 11:30 am release on Fridays
- 5th to 8th Grades will attend from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday - Thursday, with a 1:00 pm release on Fridays
2. If you need to register, please do so ASAP by coming into the front office weekdays from 8 am to 3 pm. It's important that we have the proper paperwork on file
3. Meet the Teacher / Open House will be held :
Wednesday, July 27th from 3 pm-5 pm (Pre-K to 4th) Shirts, Backpacks and other Materials will be available for pickup.
Thursday, July 28th 3 pm - 5 pm (5th to 8th) Shirts, Backpacks and other Materials will be available for pickup.
4. As part of the GRIC Schools COVID-19 Plan – Academic Year 2022-2023, all students attending classes in-person must provide a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken from a licensed health care provider taken no more than five (5) days before the student’s first day of in-person learning. Gila Crossing will have testing Friday, July 29th, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the GCCS gym. If your student does not test Friday, they will not be allowed to start until a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken from a licensed health care provider taken no more than five (5) days before the student’s first day of in-person learning is provided to the front office.
