Gila Crossing Families, We will have Saturday School this Saturday, September 10th. Gila Crossing Community School will be offering Saturday School sessions for our students. Saturday School will offer academic tutoring in ELA and Math but will include fun activities supporting the learning. Saturday school will occur from 8:00 and ending at noon. If you would like to sign your student up for Saturday School, permission slips are available on the school website and in the front office. Thank you.

Gila Crossing Families, Welcome back! Gila Crossing will have a testing event today, July 29th from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the gym. This event will qualify students to return back in person on the first day of school which is Wednesday, August 3rd. Please remember, all students attending classes in-person must provide a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken from a licensed health care provider taken no more than 5 days before the student’s first day of in-person learning. Gila Crossing Families, We are excited to return to IN-PERSON learning on Wednesday, August 3rd. Meet the Teacher / Open House will be held on Wednesday, July 27th from 3 pm-5 pm (K-4th grade) and Thursday, July 28th 3 pm - 5 pm (5th-8th grade). Gila Crossing will have testing on Friday, July 29th, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the GCCS gym. If your student does not test Friday, they will not be allowed to start until a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken from a licensed health care provider taken no more than five (5) days before the student’s first day of in-person learning is provided to the front office. Gila Crossing Families, Gila River Healthcare will be conducting a vaccination clinic on campus this Thursday, July 7th from 10am to 2pm. Please remember that current policy states that students attending in-person must be fully vaccinated to be eligible to return. The latest date of the 2nd vaccine dose to return on the first day of school, August 3rd, is July 19. BUT, we will continue to accept in-person students after August 3rd as they meet vaccination and testing requirements. So please take advantage of this event on campus on Thursday, July 7.

Gila Crossing Families, The Bus Meal Runs are now collecting Chromebooks and any other technology. Please get those out to the buses this week. You can also return them to the front office.
